Abstract

Kosovo and Albania are two small countries in the Balkan region that have experienced significant economic growth and development in recent years. One of the main factors of this growth has been the development of the financial sector in them, which has gone through important reforms and modernization initiatives. In Kosovo, the financial sector has shown continuous growth during the last years, especially in the fields of lending, investments, and banking services. The Government of Kosovo has taken initiatives to increase access to credit and to help the private sector in the growth of businesses. Additionally, in recent years, a new capital market has emerged, making it easier for companies to go public and obtain capital. In Albania, the financial sector is experiencing significant growth, with a large number of financial and banking institutions operating in the country. The banking sector in Albania has improved significantly in recent years, with a continuous increase in services and productivity. At the same time, the capital market has shown significant growth, with more investors interested in engaging in the Albanian stock and bond market. In general, the growth and development of the financial sector in Kosovo and Albania are important for the growth of their economies. These countries have shown a continuous commitment to increase access to credit and improve financial infrastructure, which is a positive initiative to continue to grow in the future.
