Higher Education Reform in Vietnam in the Context of a Significant Increase in the Number of Higher Education Institutions

This article focuses on analyzing the trends of higher education reform in the world, comparing them with the actual situation in the relationship between human resource training and social demand for labour, thereby proposing solutions in the educational reform process to ensure the quality of training programs. In addition, within the scope of the study, the author also mentioned the socialization of higher education leading to a significant increase in higher education institutions, potentially posing the risk of homogenization between education and businesses, ignoring the mission of training human resources. In this situation, the author proposes solutions to enhance the role of the state in inspection, examination and management of higher education towards establishing transparent and objective mechanisms in the training sector.
