An Analysis of Adult Syrian Refugees’ Opinions on Turkish Courses Opened in Cooperation with the United Nations and the Ministry of National Education.

In this study, it is aimed to examine adult Syrian refugees’ opinions on the Turkish courses opened in cooperation with the UN and the Ministry of National Education in Türkiye. A basic qualitative research method was used in the study. The study group of the research consisted of 18 adult Syrian refugees attending the courses in Public Education Centre. The data were collected through focus groups. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. As a result of the analyses various conclusions were reached: reasons for the participation of adult Syrian refugees in the courses, the relationship of the course content with daily life, the difficulties encountered, the actions taken to solve these difficulties, and suggestions for the development of the course program.
