Enhancing Project Completion Success and Career Development in Commercial Banks of Swat Valley Pakistan through Emotional Intelligence Training.

Abstract
This research study aims to investigate the potential link between emotional intelligencetraining and project completion success as well as career development in the context of commercialbanks operating in Swat Valley, Pakistan. Emotional intelligence has been recognized as a vital skill forprofessional growth and interpersonal effectiveness, making it relevant for employees in the bankingsector. This research utilized a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative datacollection through surveys to measure changes in emotional intelligence levels after training andqualitative interviews to explore the perceived impact of emotional intelligence on project outcomesand career progression. 200 respondents were employed during the study by stratified samplingtechnique. To assess emotional intelligence of employees, test was designed by reviewing DanielGoleman’s emotional intelligence model which is based upon four main constructs including: selfawareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. The findings of thisstudy offers valuable insights into the role of emotional intelligence training in fostering successfulproject completion and facilitating career development within the commercial banking sector of SwatValley.
