Intellectual security among Sudanese students of Al-Neelain University in the light of some demographic variables.

Abstract

It comes to be known that the university stage is considered as a transitional period from secondary school for the students to bulid themselves for life situations as there is more challenges, independence and communication. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the general features of intellectual security among Sudanese students at Al-Neelain University and to expose the differences of intellectual security, which were attributed to some demographic variables (Gender: Male/Female, specialization: Scientific/Literary). The researchers used the analytic descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (200) male and female students that were chosen randomly. The researchers designed a questionnaire to collect data. The researchers used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program to analyze the data. The results obtained displayed low intellectual security among Sudanese students at Al-Neelain University. There were no statistically significant differences in the level of intellectual security among Sudanese students at Al-Neelain University due to the variables of (gender and specialization). The researchers reached at some recommendations of which are: There should be a profound use of multitools to collect data, and to consolidate self-achievement, intellectual security and ethical principles.
