The relationship between entrepreneurial behaviour and entrepreneurial success of emerging entrepreneurs in Pakistan: an analysis of entrepreneurial passion as moderator

Abstract

Entrepreneurial behaviour is vital for the entrepreneurial success of the emerging entrepreneurs in Pakistan. Based on the bird’s theory, this study analyses that entrepreneurial passion brings positive strong influence on the relationship between entrepreneurial behaviour and entrepreneurial success. This study is quantitative and empirical in nature and with the help of cross-sectional research design primary data is collected from the emerging entrepreneurs of Pakistan. 400 questionnaires were disseminated from which 350 were returned and total 330 were duly filled by the emerging entrepreneurs of the Pakistan. The results revealed that there is a positive significant relationship between entrepreneurial behaviour and entrepreneurial success. The entrepreneurial passion strongly and positively moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial behaviour and entrepreneurial success. This research could provide the parameters to the emerging entrepreneurs of Pakistan to be successful in their businesses by adopting entrepreneurial behaviour and entrepreneurial passion in their attitudes.
