The recent economic difficulties encountered by people all over the world have been exacerbated by pandemic COVID 19 developments. This paper is based on a review of recent literature on the impact of the pandemic on the economy, with the findings indicating a very significant impact not only on the business cycle but also on general social life. State governments have taken measures ranging from mild to severe in two directions in response to the pandemic. The first is concerned with the protection of life or the abolition of the pandemic, while the others are concerned with economic security. Among the harsh measures were the total closure of schools, gastronomy, transportation, and so on, which calls for a reduction in population.
