Exploring the relationship of entrepreneurial leadership and organizational performance: an empirical investigation of public sector organizations

This research aims to explore the effects of entrepreneurial leadership on organizational performance and the potential mediating role of employee performance. The study employed a quantitative approach, involving a sample of 196 employees from public sector organizations in Lahore. The researchers utilized the partial least square approach (PLS-SEM) to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial leadership positively influences both organizational performance and employee performance. Moreover, employee performance was found to positively correlate with organizational performance. The study concludes that employee performance fully mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and organizational performance. This paper contributes by addressing gaps in the existing literature and emphasizing the significance of entrepreneurial leadership in achieving organizational performance, highlighting the mediating effects on employee performance.
